Ingredients:

  • Cacao - 2 teaspoons per serving

  • Handful of blueberries fresh or frozen

  • Vanilla - ¼ teaspoon

  • Cinnamon - ¼ teaspoon

  • Ashwagada - ½ teaspoon

  • Maca - ¼ teaspoon

  • Medicinal mushrooms of your choice

  • A fat of your choice like ghee, coconut oil or cacao butter

  • Almond Milk, Coconut Milk or Water as a base

  • Raw honey to taste

Method:

Heat all of the ingredients except for the raw honey on medium heat for 5-10 minutes to activate the herbs and soften the berries. Stir mindfully, and set your intentions as you brew your tonic.

Add all ingredients including honey into a blender or use a stick blender in your pot. Gentle blend until smooth.

Pour into a large cup of your choice. Sip mindfully.

We like to make a big batch of this to keep in the fridge and heat up when we are need of a quick, beautifying and rich tonic.

About your beauty ingredients:

Cacao

Antioxidant protection: Cacao is known to be rich in antioxidants, such as flavonoids and polyphenols, which can help protect the skin against free radicals and oxidative stress. Free radicals can contribute to premature aging and damage to the skin.

Goji Berries

Antioxidant-rich: Goji berries are packed with antioxidants, including vitamin C, beta-carotene, and other phytochemicals. These antioxidants help protect the skin from free radical damage, which can lead to premature aging and dullness. Consuming goji berries or using skincare products that contain goji berry extract can provide antioxidant benefits for the skin.

Collagen production: Goji berries are believed to support collagen production in the skin. Collagen is a protein that helps maintain skin elasticity and firmness. By promoting collagen synthesis, goji berries may help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving the skin a more youthful look.

Skin hydration: Goji berries have hydrating properties that can help improve skin moisture levels. They contain polysaccharides, which are natural sugars that can help retain moisture in the skin. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals with dry or dehydrated skin.

Skin brightening: Goji berries are known for their potential to enhance skin radiance and promote a healthy complexion. The high vitamin C content in goji berries can help brighten the skin and even out its tone. Regular consumption or use of skincare products containing goji berry extract may contribute to a more vibrant and glowing complexion.

Blueberries

Antioxidant powerhouse: Blueberries are rich in antioxidants, particularly anthocyanins, which give them their deep blue color. These antioxidants help protect the skin against free radicals, which can damage cells and contribute to premature aging. Consuming blueberries or using skincare products that contain blueberry extract may help promote a youthful and radiant complexion.

Collagen support: Blueberries contain vitamin C, an essential nutrient for collagen synthesis. Collagen is a protein that helps maintain the elasticity and firmness of the skin. Adequate vitamin C intake from blueberries can support collagen production, leading to smoother and more supple skin.

Anti-inflammatory properties: Blueberries possess anti-inflammatory properties that can be beneficial for skin health. Inflammation is associated with various skin conditions, including acne, redness, and irritation. The anti-inflammatory compounds in blueberries may help calm and soothe the skin, reducing redness and promoting a more even skin tone.

Skin brightening: The high concentration of antioxidants in blueberries can help brighten the skin and even out its tone. Regular consumption of blueberries or using skincare products infused with blueberry extract may contribute to a more luminous and radiant complexion.
