Growing Up, I Wanted To Be An Actress and An Esthetician
I remember as a kid, I'd spend my time either wanting to be the center of attention on my imaginary stage or pamper my face and look at myself in the mirror, and I thought that was the ultimate goal of life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I never dreamed of becoming a face yoga instructor (I don't even think that concept existed back then) but I do remember the day it all became so clear to me; when I realized that this is actually what I was meant to do.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It happened when I realized how I could combine two major interests of mine, well not interests really, more like feeling that sweet feeling of purpose.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me, finding my purpose happened rather late in life, and before I did, I have to say that I felt pretty lost chasing one idea after another, not really being able to find sustainable joy in my career and in my life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
I don't know if you recognize this feeling. Whether you feel on purpose or whether you are at the stage of confusion. Do you still remember what you wanted to be when you were a kid? When you draw back to that memory of your inner child and what they wanted to do, you may just find the answers… 💛
