Because it takes time. This is a slow and steady process that can take months to years to produce results, but those results I promise you - if you keep to your practice - will change the trajectory to how your face is changing.

 

I started 7 years ago with a face I didn’t recognise in the mirror from a traumatic year and heavy stress. My face had lost a lot of volume, making my cheeks look deflated and one side was dropping more than the other. My lips had lost their shape and volume and had started to thin, making me look troubled and angry.

 

This is what got me into the practice. That moment when my reflection in the mirror caused me to say to myself; “Enough is enough!” I wanted to take this head-on, committed to an all-natural approach that would benefit not only my face but my skin, my health, wellbeing and lifestyle.

 

Here came face yoga and the development of my method. My method builds on the understanding that facial aging happens in four main ways; volume changes, deep tissue sagging, muscle vector imbalances, and surface layer changes. This is why my method is based on strengthening face exercises, long deep stretches, decompression of the fascia and improving circulation of lymph, oxygen, nutrients and hormones. combined to create the uptime life-changing face yoga experience.

 

With my 7 years of experience and knowledge poured into the My Face Yoga Gym and with a dedicated daily practice, you can expect to see the following results on your face;

 

2 Weeks: You Feel Better… your mind starts to feel clearer, your skin will start to look more vibrant and your overall wellbeing will be better.

 

5 Weeks: More Glow… All that lovely collagen and lymphatic drainage has begun to work its magic and your skin is beginning to literally glow from within.

 

3 Months: Cheeks & Lips... have gained volume. There will be a supple plumpness beginning to arise from these, more definition and ‘perkiness’.

 

4 Months: Fine Lines & Wrinkles… have begun to soften. These include the areas around the forehead and eyes, softening into the skin and continuing to do so with daily practice.

 

6 Months: Other People Notice… this is usually when the comments start “Have you done something to your face?” or compliments that gush over how “great you are looking!” Usually, those close will want to know your secret to how you are looking so refreshed and rejuvenated, and what is the secret behind your new glow.

 

1 Year: Your Face Is Toned… this is where the real difference has begun to show itself. Your face will look more lifted and toned. Just in the same way you will work out the body muscles and they will become more toned over time, and so too will your face.

 

1+ Years: Structural changes continue... this is where the definition of your face structure continues to evolve and refine. The ongoing dedicated practice will keep your face volume up and lifted, tightened and toned so that aging and stress issues are less likely to appear. You will also begin to understand how your face is affected throughout the seasons and life cycles so that you can adjust your practice accordingly and know how to heal your facial issues. 

The best way to ensure you are on time to achieve your face yoga goals is by committing to your practice, whether that be daily or 3 times a week - the consistency is key.
