Part 1: Wake Up The Brain

Here is one of the best ways to level up your Face Yoga routine from the very first moment in the morning. Waking up the facial muscles can get not only the blood move to your face and plump up those cheeks, but it can also help to wake your brain up with nourishing stimulation.

This first part of the series is a 10-minute workout for the eye area and forehead. It's really good for waking you up, taking you from a sleepy state to giving you almost instant clarity and focus. It wakes up the brain because we're working with the eye muscles, and we are also working with the temples & the forehead. All very stimulating areas for our brains to switch themselves on! We also work a little with the jaw joint, to help get things moving in the right direction.

These exercises also help to lift droopy eyelids and give you a more like wake awakened look to your eyes. So if you're someone who wakes up with puffy eyes or you have morning eyes for a long, long time when after you wake up, this is the perfect exercise, this is so good for you and your face!

All of these areas are key areas for the trigeminal nerve. And what does this mean? It means that technically what we're doing is that we're waking up the brain with our face yoga movements, and you can do this when you're still laying down in bed before any other exercise or activity. And it's quite short at only 10 minutes, which means that almost anyone can squeeze in 10 minutes to do a practice! Put your alarm 10 minutes earlier so you can squeeze this in - trust me, you won’t regret it! to do the part one face yoga exercise.
